Jennifer Barnes goes to a routing doctor visit and comes home with heartbreaking news – she has a brain tumor and only six weeks to live. Stunned she goes home and hopes to spend the time she has left with her triplets and twin grandsons. Seems like the approp0riate thing to do. Who would not want to be surrounded by family at the end? But looking back, she begins to believe that she was poisoned.

If it were me, I would want to enjoy my time left, but Jennifer wants to learn the truth. She is determined. She wants to know who and why might have poisoned her. Her blame initially falls on her husband who she is in the process of divorcing. Her three daughters meanwhile are coping with the news in their own way.

Will Jennifer learn the truth? Was she poisoned? Is she wrong? What would you do with only six weeks to live?

I put this in the I enjoyed it while reading it pile. But will I remember this book in months to come? Probably not. But it was a nice way to spend time while stuck home in bed. There is a mystery here, but I would not call this book a thriller or suspenseful. It is a family/domestic drama with a mystery.

With many characters in this book (triplets, twins, etc.), it was easy to keep track of each character due to their distinct personalities. They all have their own issues and agendas. The story does have some twists and a revelation, but it is not of the jaw dropping kind. Will some figure it out? I believe so. But it is still enjoyable.

You will have to read to find out if Jennifer is correct. Will she get closure? You will have to read to find out!

Will this book be for you? Many are enjoying it more than I did, so I encourage you to read their reviews as well.

This is my first book by this author, I am open to reading more of her books in the future.

Thank you to Atria Books and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
