Am I the only one who found this book to be slow????? I could not get into this book, until the ending.

As I have not so subtly hinted, this was book was slow for me, was it the writing or the narration? I’m not sure. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the narrator and I wonder if I would have enjoyed this more had I read the book.

FBI Special Agent Kendall Beck is the only survivor of the notorious “Reaper” serial killer. Her experience has inspired her to seek justice for survivors of abuse. She is investigating the case of five-year-old Emily Williams, when her roommate and best friend, Gwen Tavich is found dead.

Sound interesting, doesn’t it? I thought this would be right up my alley, but it wasn’t. Again, not sure if it was the book or the narrator, but this was not for me. The ending picked up and I enjoyed that, but I wasn’t surprised by the reveal. Other readers are enjoying this much more than I did so check out their reviews.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
