Secrets are the name of the game in this book! Zach married Holly knowing her secret. Now Zach has them! Zach and Holly are happy, aren’t they? They look like the perfect happily married couple. But things changed during and after Holly gave birth to their daughter. Zach began to show his true colors.
This was a fast and engrossing book. When Zach becomes a potential suspect in the murder of a young woman, this domestic thriller really turned on the drama. I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narrator. This was a pure escape book. There are some cringe worthy characters, and I couldn’t understand how they could stand to be around each other. The book held my attention until the end. Was everything believable? I thought the ending went a little into this-is-a-little-over-the-top territory, but I was willing to forgive that as I was enjoying the book.
