She thought she was alone…

True crime writer Wylie Lark has retreated to an old farmhouse to write a book. She doesn’t mind the weather. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. She is enjoying the isolation and quiet. The old farmhouse, like most houses has a past. But this home has a sad past, two people were murdered and girl went missing….

Then as the snowstorm continues to pile on the snow, she discovers a small child in the snow. She brings the child and her mounting questions inside. She is no longer alone and wonders if anyone is looking for the child.

This is how you do it!!!!!!

Gudenkauf has created an atmospheric and chilling mystery. The book tells Wylie’s story but also that of a woman and her young daughter.

Nuff said….

Loved the atmosphere, loved the tension and dread that flowed throughout the book. Also loved the trapped feeling with the snow falling around the isolated farmhouse.

This book/audiobook grabbed my attention from page one and did not let up! I loved every single moment of this book. So good!!!
