Bummer…
No Place to Run started out strong for me. Aidan’s fifteen-year-old sister, Scarlet has come to visit him in Seattle when the unthinkable happens – She Disappears. Consumed with guilt and heartbreak, Aidan has not stopped looking for her. When he is contacted by a woman who says she saw his sister, Aidan begins his search.
What he finds is Lana who is looking for a lost sibling as well. Her brother Samuel has gone missing and local authorities claim he was killed in a wildfire, but she knows he is out there somewhere….
Will Aidan and Lana find their lost siblings?
Again, this started strongly, and I was all in. I even enjoyed the ecoterrorist part of the book until I didn’t. UGH! I tend to Love Mark Edwards books. I look forward to them and I am always on the lookout for a new one. I was over the moon when I saw this was on NetGalley but sadly, this one lost steam and fizzled out on me.
I usually round up and I initially did but upon further thought, decided not to in this case. This won’t deter me from reading his books in the future. I will still be on the lookout and happily read what he writes next.
