My name is Debra. There are three things you should know about me.: 1. I love reading. 2. Sometimes audiobooks don’t work for me. 3. I couldn’t wait for this book to be over.
So, I listened to the audiobook, and I found myself looking at the table of contents to see how far along I was and how much more there was to go. I have a feeling had I read the book, perhaps I would have enjoyed it more.
Amber wakes up in a hospital, unable to move or speak. She is hooked up to machines and has no idea what happened to her but suspects her husband may have something to do with why she is in the hospital. The book is told in the present time, through childhood diaries and slightly in the past.
This book was interesting enough to keep listening, but again, I kept checking to see how much of the book I had left. I loved the premise and how the book ended but overall was not wowed by this book.
Others loved it, so please check out their reviews.
