Holy Crap! Gripping, tense, suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat! This is how you do it!
Woohoo!!!!! What a ride this was! The gang is all back and man-oh-man, what a great series.
In The Lonely Girls, Lucy has relocated and is working her new job at the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. It is such a great job for someone who has devoted herself to making sure those who hurt children pay (and she dolls out their punishment.) Those that have read the series knows that like Ringo Starr (and later Joe Cocker), she gets by with a little help from her friends.
She finds out that one of her former clients has been murdered and her computer whiz helper, Kelly has been taken. Lucy is given told that she must located Kelly in 48 hours or Kelly dies.
Tension Overload!!!! I’m telling you!
As Lucy gets to work, I was anxious yet loving the suspense. Whew!
If you have not read this series, do not start here. You need to go back to the beginning to fully grasp and feel everything in this book.
I highly recommend this series. I also highly recommend her Nikki Hunt series as well. I love Stacy Green’s books and can’t wait to get my hands (and eyes) on what she writes next.
