Robyn Harding knows how to keep readers on their toes! I found this book to be gripping and hard to put down.

Frances Metcalfe met Kate Randolph at the elite Forrester Academy where their sons attend. Frances can’t believe that the beautiful and confident Kate wants to be her friend. She needs one and appreciated Kate sticking up for her and her son at the school. Their two sons soon become friends as well. They all bond and Frances is relieved and happy. She and her son both have someone to do things with. It’s a nice and welcome change for them both.

This book is told through the POVs of Frances, Daisy (a teenager) & DJ (young boy). Their POVs are interesting, and I was fully invested in knowing more about each and how they connected. Plus, we get glimpses into differing time periods which do bring the story together quite nicely.

There is a lot going on in this book and all I can say is WOWZA. Robyn Harding pulled off another shocking book. As with her other books, this book was well written, fast paced, and gripping. She knows how to suck readers in and deliver jaw dropping moments.

I listened to the audiobook and thought the narration was terrific!

I look forward to reading more of her books!
