Cass was having a great day until she received an email from her husband’s mistress, Emma, informing her of their affair. She even provides proof in the form of pictures. Cass is a mess. She trusted Ethan, her husband. She didn’t see this coming but will the pictures as proof, she goes on a mission to bring down his mistress. Ethan, himself, is a mess in another way. He has been lying to his wife for some time and finds himself in hot water, but he also makes some questionable decisions.
Cass and Ethan decide to go to marriage therapy but then Emma goes missing! Cass is considered the prime suspect after a public meltdown and other bad decisions come to light.
This was a gripping and entertaining book. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed all the narrators. I loved how the plot unfolded and more secrets were revealed. There were a lot of twists along the way which shocked and kept me engaged.
