What an aptly titled book! This is book three in the Zane Clearwater series and I suggest reading the previous books in the series prior to reading this one as they books are a continuation of the story of Zane and Lettie. As this is only book three, why not go back and read the previous two.
In Stalked By Revenge, Zane is attending the police academy and Lettie is pregnant. This should be a good time for both, but Clyde Doom may be getting out of prison. Clyde is Zane’s half-brother and Zane and his sister; Lettie gave the testimony that put him away. When they hear Clyde may be getting out, they know that there will be trouble. Clyde is not one to let there be water under the bridge – he will want revenge.
Poor Zane just can’t get a break. He wants so badly to start over, have a fresh start, and put his past behind him. Lettie wants to raise her baby in a stress-free environment. Will they get their fresh starts, or will Clyde dampen their plans?
I was happy to see that this book was coming out. I have enjoyed the previous books in the series, and it was nice to read about Zane and Lettie again even if they are dealing with some stressful situations and events in this book. I enjoy their bond and their grandmother is a real character!
Well written, engaging, and gripping.
