DIG HERE
2017 – 19-year-old Tallulah is a young mother attending college and living with her mother and boyfriend, Zach. She is trying to make the most of her life juggling school, motherhood, and the relationships she has with others. One night she goes out with Zach, and neither are seen again. They were last seen going to a party at the home of Scarlett, Tallulah’s friend. Scarlett lives near the woods known as the Dark Place. Left to raise her grandson, Tallulah’s mother is desperate for answers.
2019 – Sophie is walking near the woods where her boyfriend is a teacher when she sees a sign which reads “DIG HERE” attached to a tree.
What happened the night that Tallulah and Zach went missing? Where are they? Who put the note on the tree? Will Tallulah’s mother ever get answers?
I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narration. The mystery in this book kept me on my toes as did the multiple POV’s. Just what happened to the young parents that fateful night? This one kept me invested in learning the truth.
Another solid read by Jewell.
