A Killer’s Game is the gripping, shocking, and riveting first book in the Daniela Vega series. Wowza! It is slow to start but soon puts the pedal to the metal and things become action packed and had me turning the pages!

Daniela “Dani” Vega, FBI agent and former military codebreaker, witnesses a murder in Manhattan. The victim is the chief of staff for a powerful NY senator. The hitman is Gustavo Toro, who is part of a larger criminal network. He agrees to work with her, and the game of cat and mouse begins. Going undercover to infiltrate, gather information and bring the network down! But (there is always a but), they are walking into a trap!

Dani is a great character. She is strong, intelligent, determined, and courageous. Dani must use her skills and puzzle solving abilities to survive….

I love books with tension and suspense and this one had both flowing throughout the book! There are twists, turns, and reveals. The synopsis of the book was intriguing, and the book exceeded my expectations. I was flipping the pages and glued to my kindle especially in the last half of the book. Isabella Maldonado wore a badge in real life and infused her knowledge and experience to create a captivating, action packed book.

This was a great book to what I feel is going to be a great series. I look forward to reading the future books in this series!

Gripping, action packed, well written and tense!

Thank you to Wunderkind PR, and Thomas & Mercer for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own!
