Just when I thought I had things figured out, Catherine McKenzie turned the tables on me. I was shocked and my jaw dropped at one of the reveals. I had no clue what was going to happen. I seriously did not see that twist coming! Nicely done! I enjoyed that she pulled the wool over my eyes. I found this book to be well written and shocking.
I enjoyed the mix of characters. Some are likeable, some are unlikeable. That kept things interesting. Yosemite set the backdrop for this mystery thriller which was gripping and kept me on my toes.
