This was a fun one. I listened to the audiobook and thought the narration was wonderful. I had so many questions going through my mind while listening. I wanted to know what happened to Brie. I questioned who could be trusted and came up with my own theories. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. I love it when this happens. Barclay shocked me with the reveal!
I loved how Andrew set out to find out what happened to Brie to not only clear his name but to have closure. He won’t be alone while searching for answers. Detective Marissa Hardy is hot on the what-happened-to-Brie trail as well.
I loved the drama, the tension and mounting sense of danger. I also had fun doing my own super sleuthing as well, which as I mentioned did not turn out so well for me. This book had a nice number of twists, turns, reveals and shocking moments.
This fabulous book made a 12-hour car ride tolerable and has me wanting to read another Barclay book asap!
Well written, well thought out, tense, dramatic, and suspenseful.
