She is planning a life with Markus and has no idea that there is someone who knows her secret. Someone who wants to see Leonie pay for what she has done. Someone who wants to destroy her. As things begin to occur, they are little at first. Just enough to make Leonie go “huh?” and are annoying but fixable, but then things begin to take a turn for the worse, much, much worse.
I listened to the audiobook and found the narration to be enjoyable. This book kept me on my toes, wanting more and wondering when the next shoe would drop. As suspense and tension ramped up, I was fully invested, thinking I knew everything and still managing to be shocked.
I enjoyed this well written, twist filled book. Miranda Rijks delivered, and I look forward to reading what she writes next!
