A Traitor’s Waris action packed, full of heroes, villains, suspense, grabs for power, vampires, vampire hunters, and an interesting bunch of characters. If that doesn’t get you ramped up, the intrigue and double crossing in this book just might do it for you.

This book takes place right after the event of the first book in the seires, A Subtle Agency. Anton and Li Wu have joined the Mirovar Force Team of vampire hunters. There they will meet various people who have various feelings about Anton joining them. Juliette Mirovar quickly won me over. Then there is Chloe Armitage who is a fascinating, power hungry, fierce, and intelligent vampire. I love her scenes!

Like the first book in the series, this book has lots of characters (many new ones), vivid descriptions, great dialogue, and action. When things are not being blown up, there are fights with guns and swords. These are not the Twilight Vampires.

As I mentioned there are quite a few new characters, but they all have distinct personalities and I found it easy to keep track of them.

This book has a little bit of everything: characters to root for, characters that I love to hate, suspense, agendas, cunning, double crossing, deception, and lots of danger. There is also a sense of tension and danger flowing throughout the book. Woohoo! I love tension in books.

This was a fun, entertaining and riveting book. It left me wanting more and thankfully there is another book in the series.
