What a delight! The Cornish Cove series by Kim Nash is such a wonderful, lovely, and heartwarming series. It is like a breath of fresh air. I love how this series focuses on community, friendship, family, relationships, and real-life issues. Like the other books in the series, Making Memories at the Cornish Cove is well written, charming, and a joy to read.

Lydia has moved to Driftwood Bay to be closer to her daughter, Meredith. After being married five times, Lydia is ready to focus on herself and the one love she gave up – dancing. She brushes off her old dancing shoes, finds a dance partner in Martin, a widower who owns the local antique restoration business.

I love how Kim Nash has the characters experiencing real life issues such as injury, loss, grief, health issues, marriage, and aging. I appreciate how her characters react and behave in realistic and understandable ways. As I mentioned above, I love the focus on community and friendship. This book has a positive and heartwarming message, it’s never too late to start over or pursue your dreams. That second chances exist, humor is the best medicine, and there is power in positive relationships.

Delightful, heartwarming, and well written.
