Another thrilling page turner in the Logan Sisters Thrillers series by Peggy Webb!!! Woohoo! Without A Trace is brimming with atmosphere, tension, dread and danger! I was so excited to see that there was another book in the series, this time featuring Annie, who has traveled to Louisiana, her mother’s birthplace. There she will use her senses (all the Logan sisters have unique gifts/senses) to not only try to get in touch with her Creole heritage but to find Shadow, the killer of young women who resemble her.

There in the bayou, family secrets are waiting below the surface for their chance to see the light of day. Will Annie be able to uncover all the secrets from the past, will she be taking on more than she can handle, what revelations await her??? Those were questions swirling through my mind as I dove into this gripping and shocking mystery.

Without A Trace features Annie but readers will be happy to see the other Logan sisters (Rachel and Jen) in this book as well as their grandmother, Victoria! As I mentioned, each has her own special gift handed down by their Creole mother. I loved learning the family secrets, while hoping the killer is caught.

While this book could work very well as a stand-alone, I do highly recommend reading the other books in the series as you will learn more about the sisters, their gifts, their connection, and the wonderful mysteries in each of their books.

As with the other books in this series, this book was well written, well thought out, atmospheric, tense, and gripping. Plus, the vivid descriptions had me feeling as if I were right there in the Bayou with Annie.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
