Nothing really happens in small towns 0r does it? Nothing Ever Happens Here starts with a woman being locked in a freezer and a woman dealing with a husband who had gone missing a year prior. Are they connected? Is there a killer walking amongst them? Is there something more going on?
I had high hopes for Nothing Ever Happens Here and did enjoy the twists and turns which this Book took.. There are quite a few characters, some who tried their best to solve the case. While I initially found this book to be gripping and fascinating, I soon myself feeling a lack of connection to the characters and the story. I can’t fault Seraphina Nova Glass’s wonderful writing, I just found myself picking up other books while reading this book.
What I did enjoy was the tense scenes, twists, and action that took place. I also enjoyed how the seniors became involved. The beginning and later parts of the book were the best parts for me. Others enjoyed this book more than I did, please read their reviews as well.
Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing | Graydon House and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
