Another reason she can’t seem to pen that novel is that someone has an axe to grind with her ex-husband. In fact, someone wants to see the father of her children dead!!!! Finlay and her live-in nanny, Vero, are on the case! As with the first book in the series, things do not always go as Finlay intended. She and Vero find themselves in all kinds of hilarious and dangerous situations. Oh, and did I mention the Russian Mob? Jeepers Creepers Finlay may have bitten off more than she can chew in this book.
The gang including Detective Nick Anthony are back in this hilarious and mysterious second book in the Finlay Donovan series. Like the first book, I listened to the audiobook and thought it was fantastic. I loved the drama, the antics, the tension, the humor, the banter, and the mystery in this book. I also enjoyed the pacing which never lets up and kept me fully invested.
I can’t wait to see what comes next for Finlay.
