B.K. Borison always delivers!!!! Seriously, her books give me the feels and pull all the heartstrings. I love both her main and supporting characters. Her plots are heartwarming, charming, emotion evoking, entertaining, and leave me feeling happy. From the moment I read Lovelight Farms, I have been a HUGE fan! One thing that I love about her books is that the characters are relatable, are dealing with real life issues, and are good people that I grow to care about. Another plus is how she builds a sense of community into her books. From the locations, the other supporting characters, and their working environments. This creates a sense of realness while adding charm.

Aiden Valentine is the host of Heartstrings, an evening romance hotline. He gives advice and one night finds himself talking to Maya, a young girl who has called in hoping to get dating advice for her mother.

Lucie Stone overhears Maya, her daughter on the phone one night and goes into her room to find her talking to a man (Aiden Valentine) on the phone asking for dating advice for her mother. She is mortified to learn that the call is being broadcast and soon, the city of Baltimore, is privy to her love life or lack thereof.

I love B.K. Borison’s writing, her use of humor, sext banter, character POV’s, and fun interactions. I also loved the chemistry between Aiden and Lucie, their insecurities, their strengths, and their vulnerabilities. I also enjoyed that nothing is rushed in this book. The pacing was perfect and nothing felt rushed.

I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrators. I can’t wait to read what B.K. Borison writes next!

Charming, romantic, gripping and left my heart happy!
