Charming, well written, and heartwarming, One Snowy Day takes place over a 24-hour day. Shari Low can draw me into her books full of characters experiencing some kind of change in their lives whether it be a career change, death, loss, relationship issues, or family issues. In One Snowy Day, readers get to be silent observers as several characters have their lives change in a 24-hour period!
As with her other books, this book had me rooting for several characters as they grapple with changes in their lives. I enjoyed how she had them mulling over their choices in realistic and relatable ways. I enjoyed getting the POV’s from several characters as they rely on themselves, their friends, and family members. Secrets, twists, and revelations will be made.
While this was not my favorite book by Shari Low, I did enjoy it and found myself rooting for the characters and the obstacles and choices they must overcome and make. As with her other books, One Snowy Day is wonderfully written and well thought out.
