I enjoyed the mounting sense of dread, the heartbreaking realizations, the declarations of love, the tension, and the acceptance. The couple loves each other but Sally’s family has been cursed for generations. She thought she and her husband Herb would be safe, she thought wrong!
This is a book that quietly sneaks up on you, taps you on the back, then spooks you to the core. It’s chilling, eerie, creepy, and seeps into you bit by bit, until it has you in its grasp. I found this to be a fast read as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. This was a unique, dark, and horrific tale that delivered while breaking readers hearts and chilling them to the bone.
