This book!!! This amazing book is everything! Seriously, this book was sooooo good! I am not a regular fantasy reader. I am also not a big fantasy romance reader, but Wild Reverence stole my heart and captured my soul! I enjoyed Rebecca Ross’s world building, her wonderfully complex and fully fleshed out characters, her vivid descriptions, and the balance of gods, humans, and the plot.

Matilda is the youngest goddess of her clan. She has messenger magic and can carry messages and letters between realms. She lives in a time where not only do humans hunt the gods, but the gods kill each other to steal their magic. Who is an ally, who is a rival and who tip toes the line in-between? Vincent is a human who has dreamed of Matilda in his youth and one night, she appears with a letter for him. Are they destined to be together? Is their love a curse?

With romance, it is all about the journey for me and I loved the journey in this book. Many characters go on journeys in this book. They discover their fates, their powers, their magic, and their desires.

This was the first book which I have read by Rebecca Ross and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future. She worked her magic on me with her wonderful writing, her vivid descriptions, and her characters.

I had both the audiobook and the hardcover version of this book. The audiobook narrations was fantastic!

Thank you to Macmillan Audio, Saturday Books, and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
