A vampire and a witch go on a road trip, sounds like the opening to a joke, doesn’t it? Well, it is no joke when Grizelda “Zelda” Watson, reformed bad witch now yoga instructor, meets incredibly handsome, Peter Elliott, a vampire who has lost his memory at her yoga studio. Zelda has a history with vampires that is not quite pleasant. But there is something about Peter that makes her want to help him uncover his memories. Peter can’t remember his past and Zelda has been running from hers, so they embark on a cross-country road trip looking for answers.
Road Trip With a Vampire is the third and final book in the ‘My Vampires’ series by Jenna Levine. I enjoyed this paranormal rom-com. With romance books it is all about the journey for me and I enjoyed the journey that both characters went on individually and together in this book. Of course, there will be a few bumps along the way. I mean, seriously, a witch and a vampire hitting the open road together……..you know that bizarre and interesting things are going to happen!
I enjoyed the plot, the search for the truth, the banter, the chemistry, the characters, and the side characters! Zelda and Peter were both super likeable and I was rooting for them the entire time. This was a fun, entertaining and magical book. I had a smile on my face for most of the book. But please tell me that goat yoga is not a real thing!
Fun, gripping, entertaining, charming, entertaining and a great way to end a series. If you have not read the first two books in this series, don’t worry, this book works nicely as a stand-alone book.
