Gripping, mysterious, well thought out, and riveting! Her Cold Justice is the third book in the Keera Duggan series. It will work well as a stand-alone but do yourself and favor and read the first two books in the series – Her Deadly Game and Beyond Reasonable Doubt as they are fantastic books as well. Robert Dugoni does an impressive job blending the captivating courtroom scenes with Keera Duggan’s personal life. Her family members are in this book as well, which makes this book and Keera’s character feel more real and relatable.
Robert Dugoni got my attention from the very first page and it never wavered. In Her Cold Justice, former Chess Champion and attorney is defending a man accussed in the double murder of a drug dealer and his girlfriend. The case becomes more difficult by the day at prison informants take the stand.
If you have ever read a book by Dugoni, you know how wonderfully written, well thought out and captivating they are. I loved the court room scenes, the cross examinations, and how the plot unfolded. There are some twists, some turns, some reveals, and lots of tension. Her Cold Justice was a great addition to the series, and I can’t wait to read what comes next!
