Where Is My House?: A Picture Book About Different Animal Habitats For Kids Ages 2-7is a delightful, beautifully illustrated and endearing picture book for children! I enjoyed being on the journey with Harry, a loveable and inquisitive Hamster who is looking for a home.

As Harry searches for the perfect home for him, he encounters various animals, bees, fish, etc., and the habitats in which they live. He views them in their ‘homes’ and remarks on what makes their habitats perfect for them but not for the right fit for him.

First off, the illustrations are beautiful and eye catching. The story is cute, charming, and educational for children. I thought Mia Keen, the author, did a wonderful job of presenting various creatures and what makes their unique habitats perfect for them.

Harry is also depicted as curious, inquisitive, positive, and full of wonder. He never gives up and keeps trying to find the perfect home for him. I enjoyed the message of being inquisitive, being hopeful, and never giving up. I also enjoyed how children are shown the unique habitats of animals and other living creatures presented in this book. Plus, young readers will rejoice with Harry as he finds the perfect habitat for himself.

Such a lovely book for young readers or for parents to read to their young children.

Highly recommend.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
