Peter Swanson has delivered once again! I was completely engrossed in A Talent for Murder and enjoyed reading about Henry Kimball and Lily Kintner once again! I found this book to be gripping, shocking, and hard to put down! Peter Swanson nails it every time. If you have not read a book by him, what are you waiting for????? This book has a little bit of everything that I enjoy in books – great writing, tension, mystery, suspense, great dialogue, complex characters, and mounting danger.

When Martha Ratliff met Alan, she thought she met a traveling businessman, who would make her happy. But after seeing blood on one of his shirts, she begins to investigate. When she notices a coincidence between his travels and murders, she enlists her old college friend, Lily Kintner, for advice. Woohoo! I knew things were about to get fabulous when Lily came on the scene!!!!

This is the third book in the series, and it was fantastic! I loved the cat and mouse. Lily is such a great and complex character. I love reading about her and have my fingers crossed that there will be more books in the future. If you have not read The Kind Worth Killing: A Novel and The Kind Worth Saving: A Novel, I highly recommend reading them as well. This book would work as a stand-alone, but the first two books are fantastic and once you start reading, you will not want to stop.

Gripping, shocking, tense, and a riveting page turner!
