What a delightful, fun, entertaining, and twist filled book! I had so much fun listening to the audiobook which was fantastic! Finley has a lot going on during this book. She is a single mother of two, hasn’t quite finished the book she promised and has ongoing issues with her ex-husband. Then things get interesting when someone overhears her discussing the plot of her book and thinks she is a killer!
Things get better and better as Finley finds herself in over her head and things just keep getting worse throughout the book! I loved the wit, the banter, the plot, the interactions, and the characters in this book. I also appreciated how the author showed the real-life issues that come up while parenting young children.
I enjoyed the pacing in this book. There is never any down time and the humor had me smiling a lot while reading. I also enjoyed the drama, the mystery, the tension, and the twists. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series!
