Alex Lawson runs an online fan forum for her favorite werewolf detective show, The Arcane Files. She is famous for her knowledge and passion for the supernatural. She loves The Arcane Files, but it’s star Devin Ashwood, not so much!

Devin Ashwood is out of a job and has been fired by his agent. To make matters worse, he woke up buck-naked outside his L.A. home after the ‘once-in-a-century Wolf Blood Moon’. Things are changing and he is in dire need of some help. Who does he turn to????? You guessed it, Alex Lawson!

Man, I was hoping I would love this book as much as I loved the author’s previous book, The Intimacy Experiment. But as book readers know, we can’t love them all. While I found this book to be a worthwhile read, I didn’t love it. Devin is 42 but comes across as a young 20 ish man. Sure, he came from L.A. and grew up with glitter, glam, no boundaries and adoration, but he just felt much younger than his stated age.

What did work was the challenges that both characters faced. Each was quirky and played off each other well. This book also looks at fans, online fan forums, what it is like to be in the limelight, and the downside of fame. While Fan Service did not have me howling at the moon, it did entertain and had me smiling a few times.

This was my third book by Rosie Danan, and I do look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Thank you to Berkley Publishing Group | Berkley and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
