I love books that have a trapped feeling. Being on an island fits that bill perfectly. The island is beautiful and full of people looking for a good time and a challenge. They get more than they bargained in for in this atmospheric and danger filled book. I enjoyed how things went
from fun in the sun to things not being quite so right. As things went from bad to worse, you can almost feel the characters ‘this is not what I signed up for’ thoughts/sentiments in the book. I enjoyed the tension and dread almost as much as I enjoyed being a silent observer as some characters showed their true colors. This is horror so there will be some violent and bloody good scenes.
Overall, another killer of a book by Darcy Coates!
