Gripping, shocking, and dramatic! This is the first Willow Rose book I have read, and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future! I thought I knew what was happening in this book, I thought I was so clever because I had everything figured out! I was so very wrong! I love it when that happens. I love when an author throws in a twist and reveal that leaves me reeling and my mouth open in awe. Willow Rose delivered a riveting, hard to put down and mysterious book with The Woman He Married: An absolutely gripping and utterly unputdownable psychological thriller!

Jane never felt that Elizabeth was good enough for her son, Richard. She hires Marie, as a cleaning woman, to keep their home clean and to spy on Elizabeth. When her perfect son goes missing, she knows that Elizabeth is behind his disappearance. She will not stop until she finds her son and proves that Elizabeth is behind Richard’s disappearance.

Richard may have been the perfect son, but he was not the perfect husband….

I enjoyed the secrets, lies, tension, suspicion, deception and drama in this book. I enjoyed both Jane and Marie POVs. This made for a captivating book which kept me on my toes and turning the pages. I enjoyed getting into both of their heads and being privy to their thoughts and motivations.

Wonderfully written, well thought out, shocking, mysterious, and hard to put down!

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
