This is the second book I have read by Nora Murphy, and she is going on my “must read” list moving forward. This book is seriously good! So well thought out! So riveting and so wonderfully written!! Three homes/families in one neighborhood with a murder thrown in made for a fabulous reading experience!!!!!
Go into this book as blind as possible. I love how the book is told through the POVs of various characters. Each has their own story; their own life experience if you will. Each live on this quiet street and each will be bound by murder! This book might have you looking at your neighbors a little differently. No one ever knows what goes on behind closed doors – or do they?????
I loved the tension, the twist, the I’m-not-quite-sure-what-is-happening feeling, the diabolical characters, the tension, and the increasing unease in this book. There were characters I felt for, characters I didn’t care for, and characters I was wary of. I loved how the author kept me fully invested and turning the pages. So well done. I loved how everything came together, and the author left me reeling in the best way possible.
