Cute and Charming with relatable characters. True, most of us are not authors or actors. But many can relate to anxiety, grief, self-doubt, career issues/changing careers, and feeling pressure to name a few. This book is about second chances, following your dreams, and of course romance.

Sage Collins is a former data analyst who left her job to pursue her dream of being an author. Her debut book was a hit, but she is struggling with a second book. Theo Sharpe set the silver screen on fire and is ready to be a huge Hollywood success. They have a meeting on a flight to comic con and meet again later in Scotland.

This was a cute celebrity, forced proximity romance, that while cute and charming, didn’t quite ring all the bells and whistles for me. While I enjoyed it, I don’t think this will be one that will stay with me in the future. What I did like was the setting, the way that the author showed self-doubt, anxiety, and the effects of fame/pressure, and success.

Thank you to | St. Martin’s Griffin and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
