Brimming with tension, danger, dread, and suspense Her Burning Lies, kept me fully invested and turning the pages! I have enjoyed this series from the very beginning (Her Silent Bones) and love the balance between Delaney’s personal and private life. She has been raising her Neice, since her brother and sister-in-law were killed in an automobile accident. Plus, her chemistry with Leo is off the charts and I have been rooting for them the entire series. I love their scenes and the simmering interactions between them.
This book had me turning the pages and trying to figure out the identity of the diabolical killer. Thankfully Delaney and Leo are better detectives than I am! This book was brimming with danger, suspense, and thrills. Wonderfully written, well thought out, intense, gripping and hard to put down! I can’t wait to read what happens in the next book in the series!
